Godlands drops new single ‘Cashmere’ featuring Boler Mani

Following her highly-praised debut Monstercat EP, ‘Godsp33d,’ Adelaide-born producer Godlands is back with her latest dose of bass-fueled trap on the new single, ‘Cashmere.’ Bringing Melbourne’s breakout rapper and producer Boler Mani with her, the track flexes each of their out-of-the-box stylings, with Godlands balancing Eastern-inspired samples with aggressive kicks, while Boler spits emphatic bars. No strangers to experimentation, the synergistic pair are firing on all cylinders with raw intensity that appeals to hip hop heads and dubstep fans alike.

Godlands shares, “I was really excited to hit up Boler Mani. I discovered him through triple j Unearthed and really loved his energy and the work he puts into his own music. I was super stoked he said yes to jumping on the track and I knew his energy would permeate and really lift the track. There’s no shortage of hype and that’s the type of music I really love making.”

Boler Mani adds, ‘Cashmere’ allowed me to entertain my younger self’s obsession with trap, EDM, and rap music. I was elated that Godlands had reached out to allow my roots to indulge in this hedonic trip. This one punches you in the throat.”

In just a few years, Godlands has established herself as a household name in Australia and one to watch globally. Earning acclaim from the likes of BBC and triple j, she recently toured her blistering trap project across noteworthy clubs and festivals like Lunar Electric, Tomorrowland, and Amnesia. She’ll continue on her upward live trajectory through 2022 with anticipated performances at Rhythm & The Reef, Monstercat’s ADE Showcase, Rhythm & Vines, and more. Fans can also look forward to hearing Godlands at home with ‘Cashmere’ arriving as the only new record in the video game Rocket League‘s music update this month, making it the spotlight track for millions of players worldwide.
