For the first time since recorded in 2006, Paramore’s cover of ‘My Hero’ is available on streaming platforms. Originally, the song was recorded during the band’s ‘Riot!’ era, for the soundtrack of ‘Superman Returns,’ but recently came back to attention after singer Haley Williams joined Foo Fighters on stage during their performance at Bonnaroo festival. Along with the original song, the band also released an electronic-driven remix of the track.
The news was shared by Haley Williams on her socials: “Not long after Bonnaroo, Paramore fans used their powers to convince us to get this lil 2006 moment up and streaming. We always did gush over the Foo Fighters but judging the electronic version/track 2, teenage Paramore were clearly on a The Postal Service kick too.”
