Nia Archives shares new single ‘Unfinished Business’

Coming in hot off the back of her latest collaboration with British artist Corbin Shaw on an exclusive merch piece (‘Cheese Chips N Bloody Geavy’) and her second record-breaking Boiler Room hosted by Charity Shop Sue celebrating IWD by welcoming exclusively women, trans and non-binary ravers (the first ever for the platform), the unstoppable new-gen junglist Nia Archives shares her latest single ‘Unfinished Business.’

A light and airy lyrical letter to herself a situationship, this track marks the third single from the forthcoming debut album ‘Silence Is Loud,’, joining recent tracks ‘Crowded Roomz’ and ‘Silence Is Loud’ to weave together the album’s rich thematic tapestry around love, loneliness, the intense potential power of silence, relationships, family, navigating her 20s and more. To celebrate the release today, she shares the official Rory Wood directed video that sees Nia front and center in a series of vignettes from a chip shop, to a pub, house party to a rave breaking the fourth wall and emotionally pleading her feelings to the camera.

Nia Archives has learned the rules of her sound, and is unafraid to break them, pushing jungle and herself into new, unchartered territories. Due for release on 12th April via HIJINXX/Island Records, whilst very much replete with the exquisite jungle sound she does so well, on her forthcoming album Nia Archives is also doing something a little different and looking to make music for beyond the rave. Working with Ethan P. Flynn (the songwriter and producer known for his work with FKA twigs and David Byrne), Nia is intent that ‘Silence Is Loud’ is taken in as a full body of work of something “more song-focussed, putting interesting sounds on jungle.”
