Ireland’s Fontaines D.C. shared their new song ‘Favourite,’ a second single from their upcoming fourth album ‘Romance,’ scheduled for release on August 23rd. The song comes with a video directed by the band themselves, and it features home movies mixed with new footage shot recently in Madrid.
About the single, singer Grian Chatten shares: “‘Favourite’ has a never-ending sound to it, a continuous cycle from euphoria to sadness, two worlds spinning forever.” It’s also the jangliest song they’ve ever released, with an instantly catchy pop chorus, and quite a contrast from the album’s first single, ‘Starburster.’”
