After a five-year wait since his critically acclaimed ‘Perfect 10,’ Grammy-award-winning producer and artist Mustard is back with his fourth studio album, ‘Faith of a Mustard Seed’. Now available on all major streaming platforms, this conceptual album weaves a narrative through its 14 tracks, featuring star-studded collaborations with Young Thug, Kodak Black, Future, Roddy Ricch, Vince Staples, Ty Dolla $ign, Charlie Wilson, and more.
In an interview on The Cruz Show, Mustard highlighted the personal significance of this album, particularly noting its perfect timing following his latest Summer 2024 hit, which marked his debut at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Not Like Us’. He elaborated on the album’s vulnerability, stating, “It’s just personal. I’ve never rapped before; it’s not something I’ve ever done, and all the songs mean something. It gives you a feeling.” Mustard even samples the voices of his own mother and sister on tracks like ‘Show Me the Way’ and ‘Pray for Me’, paying homage to his family, upbringing, and Los Angeles roots.
