Fontaines D.C. share horror-inspired music video for ‘Here’s The Thing’

Just ahead of releasing their highly anticipated fourth album ‘ROMANCE’ that’s coming out next month, Irish band Fontaines D.C. have shared their third single titled ‘Here’s the Thing.’ “It’s an anxious tune that twists and turns in what it wants, back and forth between pain and numbness,”  says vocalist Grian Chatten. It comes with a video directed by Luna Carmoon, inspired by teen horror movies like ‘Phenomena’ and ‘The Lost Boys.’

Speaking to Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1 about the track, the band’s Conor ‘Deego’ Deegan III stated: “I think it was a really special song to make. In some way, I think we just had a moment where we’re kind of fighting with each other. Weirdly for us, we reconciled and let it all out at once. That’s the tune. That’s what it’s about, really.”
