Ekoh and Skydxddy join forces on the new single ‘Throne’

SkyDxddy and Ekoh stir up emotions and strike a chord when Traumacore and Heart Hop collide in their intense and heartfelt joint song ‘Throne’ out on September 27th.

‘Throne’ brings together SkyDxddy and Ekoh’s unique musical styles, blending deep honesty, vulnerability, and spirit. SkyDxddy shares: ‘Throne’ is a song that perfectly captures the moment when you finally flip the switch. After years of being bullied and doubting yourself, you find the power, strength, and resilience to fight back—not just to elevate yourself, but to lift those who have always stood by your side. It’s a moment of pure clarity, reclamation, and leadership.” Ekoh adds: “’Throne’ is a hard-hitting rap/rock crossover about overcoming personal demons and proving wrong all those who doubted you, as you reclaim your throne.”

An authentic and vulnerable genre-jumper, SkyDxddy delivers hard-edged alt-pop while courageously sharing her life stories. As a pioneer of the Traumacore movement in music, she’s also a survivor of an assault that changed her life. SkyDxddy uses her music to navigate her mental health journey, healing from her trauma through filter-less anthems of honesty and empowerment. “My music tells my story,” she says. “And when I decide to get graphic about it, I will, and I have in the past. But what I’m creating with Traumacore is so much more than just my story.”

Branded with the label of Heart Hop by loyal fans who saw something different in his musical style which mixes emotional lyrics, hard-hitting delivery and intricate production, Ekoh is a songwriter and genre-disrupter who blends hip-hop with alt-rock and everything in-between. Ekoh explains: “My music is about embracing real life—the struggles, the good times, the frustration, the anger, the heartache. It’s all real because it’s all true. I’ve felt and experienced it all.”
