Chicago punk rock trio The Mizzerables drops new single ’85’

Chicago punk rock trio The Mizzerables has released the new single 85′. Frontman Joe Mizzi says: ’85’ is a reflection of the chaos and confusion of growing up in a time of mixed messages and broken promises. It’s a history that is repeating itself. It captures the frustration and dissolution on an individual level through the lens of an era that shaped a generation, my generation.”

Song was recorded at Third Class Studios in Traverse City, MI engineered, mixed and mastered by Brian Chamberlain, with additional vocals by Kevin Sierzega (Teen Idols, P.T.’s Revenge). Since 2013, The Mizzerables have been bringing tons of catchy hooks and energy to their music. Influenced by bands like Green DayAlkaline Trio, and OWTH, they’ve put out three albums and a single.
