Everybody knows by now that Green Day have a new album ‘Father Of All…’ coming out in February 2020, and a few new songs are already out. However, during their recent visit to The Howard Stern Show, the band decided to grant the host’s wish and play one of his favorites – ‘Wake Me Up When September Ends,’ from their cult album ‘American Idiot.’ Along with the song performance, the video also includes a short interview with the band about the song, and its meaning to Green Day‘s frontman Billie Joe Armstrong.
