Following the continuing issues for global live music presented by Covid-19, Noisia have announced they will now reschedule canceled club shows from the close of 2021 to 2022. This follows the news that they’d honor festival cancellations and reschedule dates for next summer. The rescheduled club shows include DJ sets in Belgium, Portugal, Netherlands, Italy, and Switzerland. The full listings are below.
Noisia have also revealed the first EP in a remix series of the electronic music trio’s greatest cuts, ‘The Resonance I’ is released on 17 December on VISION. Remixes come from Malux (‘Could This Be’), IMANU (‘Incessant’), Levela (‘Stamp Out’), The Caracal Project & Grey Code (‘Tommy’s Theme’), Skylark (‘Floating Zero’), Buunshin (‘Purpose’), Chee (‘Reptilians’), and Posij (Hustle Athletic’s ‘Lekker’).
The trio shared: “Hey friends, quick update for the shows we weren’t able to do the last few months: we’ve decided that we’ll open up a short tour window before the summer to catch up with those shows. We’d hoped to be done at the end of the year, but again there were a lot of restrictions leading to canceled shows. So take care of yourselves and each other, and we’ll see you after winter! <3 team Noisia.”
On the ‘Resonance I’ EP, Nik Roos said: “Over the years, not many Noisia tracks have been remixed. But now, with Noisia‘s ending nearby, we want to give our 20-year catalogue to as many producers as possible. Allowing the music to echo one more time and to hear the resonance of our work. Hence the name.”
The current Farewell Tour represents Noisia’s final run of club shows. This unique tour has seen the group hit the UK, France, Denmark, Sweden, and many more. Many of the events have sold out, including an incredible capacity show at London’s Printworks last weekend.
