To commemorate the amazing launch of their first full album, Backdrop Falls have just released the first episode of the ‘Backstage Falls,’ a docuseries featuring brand new interviews, wherein band members and music producers, reveal the full story behind the creation of the ‘There’s No Such Place As Home,’ album released by 10 labels and distributed worldwide in streaming via Electric Funeral Records (Brazil) and CD and K7 through Electric Funeral Records (Brazil), Dinamite Records (USA), Bomber Music (UK), Geenger Records (Croatia), Mevzu Records (Turkey), 20 Chords Records (Spain), Duff Records (Italy), Infected Records (Portugal), Audioslam (Chile) and Razor Records (Argentina).
In the first part of the docuseries we can see how starts the development of the compositions and recordings, the interaction of the band with the producers and studio, and how the process of creating the album took place organically, making the members seek a unit not as individual musicians but as a band. The full album was recorded at Trilha Sonora Studio, Ceará, produced by Luis Orsano and Hugo Lages, mixed and mastered by Luis Orsano.
We can definitely say by the first part of the docuseries release, is that the band explores music in different forms, giving the punk rock approach in their sound coming from their heart and by the commitment to the DIY attitude. Backdrop Falls for sure makes this record a labor of love, transcending all your expectations of what a Brazilian punk rock band can bring to the table.
