The wait is over for ‘Gainsayer’, the sophomore album from melodic punk group Bridge The Gap. ‘Gainsayer’ is out now via Double Helix Records, in concert with their global distribution partners SBAM Records and Pee Records.
Featuring singles like ‘Broken Language,’ ‘Dustbin,’ ‘Brothers,’ and ‘In The Throes,’ ‘Gainsayer’ has garnered attention from V13, Punk News, New Noise Magazine, and more, as well as seen support from 25+ radio stations to date including charting at #25 on Sub-Modern Albums (Alternative Specialty) and tastemakers like SiriusXM (Underground Garage), WNNX, WEDG, XTRA, KPNT, WBJB, and KBRE.
“The focus on ‘Gainsayer’ was songwriting and melody, as opposed to displays of virtuosity that don’t serve the song,” shares vocalist/guitarist Chad Jensen. “There are plenty of riffs and killer drums, but we wanted to deliver a well-written, melodic tour de force that grabs the listener from the first track and never lets up. Bill and The Blasting Room boys were crucial in helping us cover our goals.”
The first pressing of Bridge The Gap’s new album ‘Gainsayer’ comes in four limited-edition vinyl variants that can be purchased from Double Helix Records here, as well as from SBAM Records in the EU and Pee Records in Australia, New Zealand, and Japan.
