Cassadee Pope releases new album ‘Hereditary,’ shares upcoming tour dates

Grammy-nominated, Platinum-certified singer-songwriter, Cassadee Pope has released her long-awaited album, ‘Hereditary’, marking The Voice winner’s first full-length following her shift from country back to her pop punk roots. The announcement pairs with the release of her music video for ‘More To Me,’ the first song Cassadee wrote knowing she wanted to leave country music. Hearing herself this way for the first time in years was the catalyst that solidified her decision to reenter the rock world.

As the voice behind the iconic 2000s pop punk group Hey Monday, the dynamic songstress known for her country crossover success makes a triumphant return to her roots with Hereditary. The album, which Grammy.com named as one of their top ’15 Must-Hear Albums In July’, is an emotional rollercoaster ride through the ups and downs of life, love and self-discovery. Each track is a testament to the journey we embark on, shaped by our upbringing and the legacies passed down through generations. Whether that’s love, betrayal or the intricate web of family dynamics, the title Hereditary captures the essence of our roots, the echoes of our past and the quest to carve our own path.

“This album follows my journey of self discovery so closely that I feel a little nervous to share certain things. But I needed to let it out. Creating this album was like a 2 year therapy session that continues to be there for me even after its completion”, shares Cassadee

But through it all – the Warped Tour parking lots, tours with Fall Out Boy and YellowcardCMT Awards and chart-topping singles – she’s always remained fearlessly, unapologetically herself. 15 years into her career, her confessional writing continues to redefine her place as a pop punk mainstay as she enters this renaissance with a new found sense of freedom.

Cassadee is now touring the record this July, on her U.S. Headlining Hereditary Tour. The tour will be making stops throughout the country, having kicked off July 11th in Anaheim, California and visiting Los Angeles, Knoxville, Albany, Charleston and more before wrapping on July 31st in West Palm Beach, Florida. Up next, she will be joining Marianas Trench on their US Tour this fall.
