Legendary LA punks Circle Jerks have released a music video for their iconic 1982’s song ‘Wild in the Streets.’ The video is directed by Atiba Jefferson, and it’s part of the celebration of 40 years of their album of the same name. The Deluxe version of the record drops on February 18 via Trust Records.
The music video is set to become an instant classic, featuring clips of the band’s live performance from 1982, as well as skate crew including Tony Hawk, Eric Koston, Lance Mountain, Rowan Zorilla, Sean Malto, Anaiah Lei, Christian Hosoi, Lizzie Armanto, and Dashawn Jordan, cruising down the streets of Los Angeles.
“I grew up on ‘Wild In The Streets,’ so to be asked to direct this video was a huge honor,” Jefferson says in a press release. “I wanted to capture and preserve 40 years of history but also celebrate 40 years of punk rock and skateboarding history.”
