Florida pop punks A New Violet share ‘Mad Max’ inspired ‘Over Again’ music video

Orlando pop-punk quartet A New Violet have premiered a music video for the heavy-hitting ‘Over Again.’ The track is taken from the band’s latest EP, ‘The Heat is Getting Hotter,’ which is out now on Manic Kat Records.

Lead vocalist Beth Vandal shares: “The music video idea for ‘Over Again’ was inspired by the classic ‘Mad Max’ movies. I chose a gritty, abandoned area where nobody resides. Wanted that wasteland feeling to it. Its like a place you’d feel vulnerable in when faced to fight off your enemies. This is a song about taking back your power and not caving into fear. When you’re forced to unleash your inner warrior in order to prevent becoming your own worst enemy.”

‘The Heat is Getting Hotter’ is a statement-making, fist-pumping rookie effort from the Florida natives, who show a cohesive maturity and conviction in their delivery, despite their newcomer status. The record a rambunctious iteration of melodic punk, dressed in both old and new school influence.
