Following the recent release of ‘Better Now’ feat. Lily Denning, Hybrid Minds announce their headline Wembley Arena show TIDES which arrives on 22nd October with their ‘Tides: Part 1’ EP dropping the day before the huge milestone event.
With more to come, very special supporting guests will be announced closer to the date, marking a memorable night in d&b. Selling out live shows last year for Printworks in 4 hours as well as their headline Brixton Academy show six months out from the dates, the Wembley Arena show marks the perfect progression for Hybrid Minds as the first drum and bass act to headline the venue this year. The headline slot will follow a jam-packed summer schedule that has seen them play to an overflowing crowd at Glastonbury as well as incredible performances at Electric Woodlands, El Dorado, Liquicity, Hideout, Red Rocks supporting Zeds Dead, Forbidden Forest, Reading Festival, and multiple shows at Louder‘s Ibiza residency at Eden.
Making for a massive career-defining moment, Hybrid Minds are the third drum and bass act in 12 years to headline Wembley Arena following Andy C in 2018 and Pendulum in 2010, putting into context the duo’s remarkable ability to attract major audiences as true d&b heavyweights. An unforgettable experience for any artist in their field, the duo joins the likes of established talent across the board including 50 Cent, Carl Cox, KSI, Armin Van Buuren, The Libertines, Stromae, and more who’ve also announced headline shows this year.
Hailed by MTV as “one of the biggest acts in drum and bass” and “leaders in their scene,” by Zane Lowe, Hybrid Minds bridge the gap between d’n’b and pop, working with and championing the likes of indie star Hollie Humberstone who co-wrote ‘Blame You’ from their ‘Reflections’ EP, Grace Grundy, Everyone You Know, Stevie Parker, Dylan and more recently Lily Denning for their new single ‘Better Now’ that will feature on the forthcoming project ‘Tides: Part 1.’
Continuing to break the traditional drum and bass mold, their unmatched musical style, and process sets Hybrid Minds apart from the rest. Collaborating with the likes of Grammy-nominated Above & Beyond, drum & bass heavyweights Pendulum and Netsky, as well as earning consistent support from BBC Radio 1, 1 Xtra, Kiss FM, and Capital Dance, Hybrid Minds are the perfect example of Wembley Arena headliners, paving the way for drum and bass to be showcased on a wider scale.
