Jay Kinser finally drops his new album ‘Eleven’

Haverhill, Massachusetts emcee Jay Kinser (formerly JK) is co-founder of the hardcore underground group EXP The Expendables who specializes in the East Coast boom-bap with well-versed lyrics. The red-headed Irish rapper has been hustling nonstop in the New England hip hop scene dropping numerous projects, performing with national acts, and working with notable artists such as Sean Price, Sicknature (Snowgoons), Reks, and more. He continuously plays his part by trudging through the rap game with a true dedication to the culture.

His latest LP ‘Eleven’ is named after being his eleventh project and purposely released on 11/11. “On one of the first joints I wrote for this project, I sampled a famous scene from the movie ‘Spinal Tap.’Where the character is saying his amp can go up to 11. So I wrote that track, and named it that. Soon after, I realized that this was my 11th overall project (5th Solo),” says Jay.

He recruits heavy-hitting features and production from Reef The Lost Cauze (AOTP), Ruste Juxx, Rite Hook, The Arcitype, DC The Midi Alien, Myster DL, Weapon E.S.P., and more. “I’m blessed to have worked with a bunch of incredible artists on this project,” says Jay.

Since the album’s inception, he has released two videos which include ‘So Close’ featuring Rite Hook, ‘Bomb On Em’ featuring Ruste Juxx, and a promo visual Bill (Joyner Lucas Remix). The LP is another fine addition to Jay‘s body of work chock full of underground bangers, bars, trials and tribulations, self-medication, and hometown humor.
