Kofi Stone strikes back with new single ‘King David Flow,’ announces upcoming tour dates

Birmingham-hailing rapper Kofi Stone returns with brand new single ‘King David Flow.’ The song lands in the wake of June’s release ‘You’ll Be Okay’ and is yet another straight-talking, no-frills offering which leaves no doubt as to the true extent of Kofi’s pen. The track is an indisputable display of Kofi’s lyrical dexterity, rapping with such purpose and conviction that would stop anyone dead in their tracks.

Kofi’s head-turning flow is razor-sharp over nostalgic production, reminiscent of Hip-hop’s golden era yet still feels refreshingly new. Kofi makes his influences clear, embodying the fundamental spirit of Hip-hop and all that it truly stands for. An early form of expression and resistance, where your only resource was creativity, innovation and a deep connection to the social conditions of the time.

The new single is simultaneously an exploration of Kofi’s faith, inspired by the biblical story of King David. It’s a multifaceted narrative, but at its core is an account of courage, leadership, humility, and the complexities of human nature. ‘King David Flow’ is me letting loose, speaking my mind and bringing that raw energy. The song embodies a fighting spirit. Sometimes in life we are faced with obstacles that can lead us to believe we are defeated, but with the right energy no obstacle is too big to overcome.” Kofi says.
