Legendary Slovenian snowboarder Marko Grilc has died on November 24th. According to Slovenian media, Grilc was in Austrian resort Sölden, where he was part of the crew working on a promo video for the resort.
As reported, Grilc was part of the crew inspecting the site for the shooting and fell during descending a slope in the deep snow. He hit the snow-covered rock and sustained a fatal head injury.
Grilc is survived by his pregnant fiancée Nina, and two children, Max and Ema. Marko Grilc was 38.
