Maud Le Car is a French free surfer, who epitomizes passion and commitment in her pursuit of waves and environmental activism. From her childhood in Saint-Martin, where she fell in love with surfing, to her remarkable journey to becoming a pro surfer, Maud’s relentless pursuit of her dream has been unwavering.
With a string of victories in competitions and championships, including becoming the European Champion at 18, Maud’s talent and dedication have earned her recognition on the global stage. However, as her surfing career progressed, Maud’s focus shifted towards free surfing, where she found renewed joy and freedom in exploring new goals and sharing experiences with others.
Beyond surfing, Maud is deeply committed to environmental causes, founding the Save the Mermaid association to raise awareness about ocean pollution among children and communities. Through educational workshops and beach clean-ups, Maud embodies the belief that small actions can lead to significant change in protecting our planet.
