Seth Anderson shares new single ‘Highway Lights’

Singer and songwriter Seth Anderson shared ‘Highway Lights,’ the first single taken from his upcoming album, ‘We Could Be,’ out on February 25th. The song is a reminder to take life’s challenges and struggles in stride, and to stay true to the course.

“I found inspiration for the song while talking with a friend whose passion is surfing and traveling the world. With my love for touring and playing music, we share a fairly transient personality type,” said Anderson about the song, and added: “We discussed how burning out can be inevitable when you are stretching your capacities and living outside of your comfort zone. The two of us agreed that it is important to take a break and return to stability now and then in order to refocus and recharge before we get out and push ourselves again.”

‘Highway Lights,’ as well as the rest of ‘We Could Be’ is recorded with Eamon McGrath as a producer in his Toronto living room. “A lot of our friends joined us to play on the record, and I really enjoyed the DIY approach we took to its recording. With ‘Highway Lights,’ we really captured the energy of the song, which was very important across the entire album,” shared Anderson.
