Shaq releases first-ever Jay-Z and Nas collaboration on the track ‘No Love Lost’ recorded 28 years ago

NBA Hall of Famer MC Shaquille O’Neal has officially released the first-ever collaboration between the two hip-hop giants, Jay-Z and Nas, on the reissue of his 1996 album ‘You Can’t Stop the Reign’. After teasing fans with the record on Thursday (June 27th), Shaq followed through on Friday (June 28th) by delivering an updated version of his third studio album. The rerelease has the track ‘No Love Lost’ featuring Nas, Jay-Z along with Lord Tariq as well.

The same year Shaq’s third recrod dropped, the beginnings of what would become Jay and Nas’ full-fledged feud were already in motion (Nas on his track ‘Ether’ and Jay on ‘Takeover’). The beef, which is still referenced to this day (most recently amid Kendrick Lamar and Drake’s own historic back-and-forth), had come to a close by the mid-2000s, though nearly two more decades would pass before ‘No Love Lost’ finally got an official release – check out the track below!
