This year, Novi Sad’s To Be Punk Festival announced will happen on a slightly different date than usual. Moved from traditional June dates, the festival that hosted names like Cockney Rejects, Cock Sparrer, Spermbirds, GBH, Sham 69, The Crack, and many others, will this year be held in November, with more information to be available soon.
However, June will not be without punk sound in Novi Sad, as To Be Punk festival announced a big promo event on June 3rd in SKCNS Fabrika, headlined by legendary Boston hardcore band Slapshot. The band was also the first announced headliners of the 2020 issue of the festival, which sadly got canceled because of the Covid-19 pandemic. For Bostoners, this will be the third show in Novi Sad, and the fifth in Serbia.
Local support for this show will be provided by First Flame, one of the best hardcore bands Novi Sad ever had to offer, as well as Belgrade newcomers Statico. Tickets for this event can be purchased HERE.
