Yung Trybez shares: “ ‘Red Future’ is our contribution to a time where Indigenous excellence is at the forefront, when our people are getting a spotlight and an opportunity to tell our stories in our own way. The concept of the album is loosely based on the ideas of ‘Indigenous Futurism’, it’s us being able to see and visualize a future with ourselves in it, where we’re doing big things in film, fashion, music, politics, medicine and more.”
Young D explains: “ ‘Red Future’ is a rap album, but at the same time it’s so much more. We’ve got a lot of voices on the album lending their own genres to the project. It’s more important than ever that our stories are told by us and that’s why we brought twelve Indigenous features to this project. We all come from similar places but add our different perspectives, we all share something in common, but we all have our own stories to tell.”

Now is the time, the world is ready to hear what we are capable of” shares the duo.
