Time X Heist released their blistering new EP, ‘The Unforgiving Minute,’ through Heroes + Martyrs Records. The three-song EP pays homage to the golden era of youth crew hardcore while injecting it with a modern edge. Channeling the raw intensity of Youth of Today, the anthemic force of Chain of Strength, and the relentless energy of Mindset, the band delivers a sonic barrage of breakneck drumming, razor-sharp riffing, and vocals that hit like a clenched fist of conviction. Every track sprints forward with unrelenting pace—gang vocals explode in unison, drum fills crash like a stampede, and the guitars slice through the mix with a jagged, pit-ready edge. There’s no room for excess here; every second is packed with the kind of passion and precision that define the very best of straight edge hardcore.
Vocalist Mark shares: “This EP is a taste of what’s to come from Time X Heist. The goal has always been to have a sound that’s both true to the roots of hardcore and unique in our own way. Working with Kyle at Black In Bluhm was a good way for us to level up and really dial in the sound we’re going for.”
There’s a modern polish to the production that makes every snare crack and bassline punch with even more weight. Lyrically, they stay true to the straight edge ethos, spitting out words of resistance and self-discipline with an urgency that feels tailor-made for the chaos of today’s world.
