January 5th – Free Locals Day

We will be partnering with Project Marilyn whose mission is to ensure everyone has a healthy and dignified period. Project Marilyn assembles period kits and distributes them to other nonprofits. Period supplies are often overlooked so Project Marilyn is working to fill that void. We will be accepting donations such as pads, tampons, panty liners, and hygiene wipes. Stop by their table and meet The Dollheads, who will be passing out promotional materials.

This pop-up showcase honors the late Emily Matview, featuring historical photos and flyers. Emily Matview founded Punks in Vegas, a database documenting the Las Vegas music scene. The show features album reviews, interviews, photographs, and oral histories of many influential artists within the punk community. Emily captured the essence of Las Vegas music by fostering a tight-knit community, showcasing emerging artists, and helping to elevate the Las Vegas scene to greater prominence.

CoZiLV and The Las Vegas Battle Jackets Sewing Club will be hosting two workshops! CoZiLV will present a deep dive into the huge part zines have had on punk culture, while Battle Jackets will lead a DIY sewing seminar for all to take part in!

Local legends Anti-Vision and Same Sex Mary will be playing a live set capping off the day.
