The Punk Rock Museum is the world’s most comprehensive attraction dedicated to the history of the music, the culture, and the absurdity of punk rock. Located in Las Vegas, it houses artifacts and memorabilia from across the world’s punk scene—such as handwritten lyrics, instruments, clothing, photos, flyers, and artwork.
Encompassing 12,000 square feet at 1422 Western Ave, between the Las Vegas Strip and Downtown, the museum celebrates the genre’s substantial cultural impact over the last half-century. Celebrate Pride Month at The Punk Rock Museum
Help us support queer houseless individuals of Las Vegas by contributing to our socks & blankets donation drive. We will also host a fleece blanket session in collaboration with The LGBTQIA Center’s youth program.
The LGBTQIA Center serves as a haven for all, welcoming and celebrating the diversity of our communities. They strive to empower everyone by providing essential resources, testing, and a variety of educational workshops to the Las Vegas community. By donating to their socks and blankets drive, you’re supporting people facing housing insecurity through the winter, helping them stay warm and protected when most needed.
How To Donate – All socks & blankets donations will be accepted upon entry to the museum. Be sure to stop by The LGBTQIA Center’s information table, where you can join in on our fleece blanket-making session with their youth group and still contribute to the cause.
DIY Workshop – Las Vegas Battle Jackets will be joining us again for a D.I.Y workshop and social club in our gallery! Join the club, start your next D.I.Y project, share community resources, and meet fellow Punk Rock enthusiasts.
Drag Show at the Triple Down bar – To wrap up the day, The House of St Starr James will perform a fabulous drag show, ‘Divas of Pride’, celebrating influential icons of the LGBTQ+ community.

October 11th – Chuy Hartman 10-Year Retrospective Exhibition Opening!
Chuy Hartman is a Los Angeles-based artist who has spent the last decade merging his love for music with visual expression. Like a courtroom artist, Chuy uses traditional painting and drawing techniques to document live performances, capturing the chaotic energy of the crowd, musicians, and the entire atmosphere from the stage to the page. Focusing on the dynamics of lighting, sound, and space, his work brings out the raw, unfiltered energy of live music. Born and raised in the San Fernando Valley, Chuy grew up immersed in the Los Angeles hardcore music scene, playing in bands until shifting his focus to drawing and painting. While studying at the Art Center College of Design, he began to blend his artistic practice with his passion for music, documenting live shows from within the scene he grew up in.
His drawings embrace imperfection—created with ink brush on paper, Hartman intentionally avoids erasing, allowing mistakes to remain as part of the final piece. This approach lends a personal and honest quality to his work, glorifying the raw, unpolished aspects of live performance. Hartman’s career has included collaborations with major music festivals like Punk Rock Bowling, Sound & Fury, Outbreak, and Desert Daze, where he has captured the energy of countless bands. One of his most notable projects includes creating artwork for the release of Turnstile’s critically acclaimed album ‘GLOW ON’. His work has been showcased in group exhibitions across Los Angeles, New York, London, Manchester, and Berlin, and has appeared in prominent publications such as Rolling Stone Japan, Juxtapoz, New York Magazine, The NewYork Times, Flaunt, New Noise, and the LA Times. He has also been recognized with multipleawards in American Illustration.

October 17th – Hopeless Exhibition Opening and 30th Anniversary Party!
On October 17th, the seminal California-based punk label Hopeless Records will celebrate its 30th anniversary at The Punk Rock Museum in Las Vegas, when the Museum will host the last stop of the label’s traveling road show, the ‘Hopeless Museum Exhibit’. To celebrate The Punk Rock Museum’s opening of Hopeless’ exhibit, and the start of the When We Were Young festival, idobi Radio will present an opening party at the Museum on Thursday, October 17th, 2024, from 8 PM to 12 AM, featuring special appearances from Hopeless artists, VIP experiences, and more.
The traveling Hopeless exhibits 1,000+ unique artifacts from 150+ Hopeless artists. To kick off the opening of the exhibit and start of the When We Were Young music festival – which will feature notable Hopeless artists and alumni including Taking Back Sunday, Silverstein, Neck Deep, The Wonder Years, Bayside, and We Are The In Crowd – The Punk Rock Museum x Hopeless’ opening party on 10/17 will feature surprise appearances, a tattoo artist, giveaways, and more.
Attendees will have the opportunity to mingle with key figures from Hopeless Records and enjoy surprise appearances from Hopeless artists in the Pennywise Garage, a unique space within the museum dedicated to iconic punk moments. Hopeless Flash will be available in The Shop, offering attendees the chance to get quick tattoos inspired by the label’s legacy. Throughout the night, live streams will capture the event for TPRM’s 150,000+ followers, and idobi will host giveaways with artists and guests, offering fans at home a chance to celebrate with the label.
Louis Posen, Founder and President of Hopeless Records, said: “Punk Rock is the community that allowed me and Hopeless to get started, grow, and thrive over these past 30 years. It’s more than fitting that our 30th-anniversary museum exhibit will have its grand finale at The Punk Rock Museum. Fat Mike, the founder of the museum was the first person who trusted me with their music, letting me direct a music video for the NOFX song ‘Bob’ and then helping me get Hopeless off the ground. We can’t thank Mike, The Punk Rock Museum and the punk community enough for their long-time support and love.”
Fat Mike of NOFX, a long-time friend of Posen and the creator of The Punk Rock Museum, added: “I know this might sound a little cheesy, but I am very excited about this exhibit! Why? Well, because I kinda helped Louis start Hopeless. I gave him all of Fat Wreck Chords radio contacts and press contacts and I even gave him a band. 88 Fingers turned out to be their biggest record that year. I’m just so happy to see the success of Hopeless after 30 years… maybe I might end up doing business with them someday… you never know.”
