Tickets are on sale now for the guided tours and don’t forget the live gigs atthe Usual Place – Brendan Kelly is the guy from The Lawrence ArmsThe FalconNihilist Arby’s and more. The Chicago icon has toured the world with his music and released a dozen essential punk rock albums. His road-worn bass guitar is a coveted artifact in The Punk Rock Museum and it’s about damn time he finally came to Vegas to share his whimsy and wisdom. Be advised: this is gonna be one of the more fun and engaging tour guides coming through the TPRM, so prepare accordingly (ie, try his signature drink, the ‘Shitty Margarita’).

Back in 2004 he co-founded punk imprint, Red Scare Industries, and who better to conduct a party parade through the museum? Because Beex and Red Scare are TAKING OVER the museum, he called in some backup. The Red Scare Comrades at his side will be Friday: Deanna is from Sincere Engineer, and her debut, Rhombithian, is a Midwest emo-punk fave. Sam Russo is a British balladeer from Suffolk UK, and Toby will be there to keep the gents hydrated. Saturday: Patrick “Seton” O’Connor is a punk rocker on TV and radio, and if you’ve ever heard The Menzingers or Arms Aloft on a sports talk show, it’s because of him. Shahab Zarqari is Vegas punk royalty in our eyes.

He runs LV’s own GC Records, and any friend of David Jones is a friend of ours. Sunday: Adam Fletcher sings forThe Copyrightsand comes from the Lost Cross scene (as seen in TPRM!) outta Southern Illinois. Buzzpop FTW! Neil Hennessy needs no introduction and has played inThe FalconSundownerthe Wandering Birds… lotsa of Red Scare bands!

Artifact Highlight of the Month with Alkaline Trio

This month, we’re excited to showcase a unique piece from our current Alkaline Trio exhibition: a prosthetic demon face created by Russell FX, featured in the video for the song ‘Blood, Hair and Eyeballs’. This artifact is from the band’s tenth studio album, which was released on Rise Records on January 26th, 2024. The album marked a significant moment as it was their final release with drummer Derek Grant, who departed from the group prior to its announcement.
