Watch Beatrice Domond’s enriching and challenging skateboarding narrative in the new ‘Pack Heavy Chase Light’ episode

Beatrice Domond was the first woman to earn a spot on Supreme’s skate team and the first black female Vans rider to have her own signature shoe. The word impressive just doesn’t cut it. Skateboarding influences every facet of who Beatrice is as a person– she eats, sleeps and breathes life on four wheels. It transcends everything she does, from the art she creates and absorbs to the music she listens to, to the clothes she wears – the latter mainly because she wants to be comfortable when she rides. She’s a brilliantly laid-back human, so kick back and relax to one of the chillest PHCL episodes we’ve got.

Season 3 of Db’s ‘Pack Heavy, Chase Light’ sees the crew venture out into the world (again) to bring you a deep dive into the heads of the people they look up to. In this series, they have conversations with photographers, marketers, skaters, surfers, climbers, creatives and snowboards and ask them ‘Why’. Why have they made the decisions they made? Why do they do the sports they do and why did they pursue the careers they have? Hallvard (Producer) and Sam (Creator) are back at it. Yes, they got their bags pinched in Barcelona, experienced an earthquake in NYC and skied an active volcano in Portland, but would they change anything? Absolutely not.
