Legendary punk rock band Green Day played a massive Halftime Show at 2023’s edition of Grey Cup in Hamilton, Ontario. The game, which served as the finals of the Canadian Football League was held at Hamilton’s Tim Hortons Field, and saw the Montreal Alouettes take a 28-24 win over Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
Green Day opened their Halftime Show with the brand new single ‘The American Dream Is Killing Me,’ before sliding into the legendary 1994 hit ‘Basket Case.’ The show ended with two songs from their 2004 album ‘American Idiot’ – ‘Boulevard Of Broken Dreams’ and ‘Holiday.’ Watch the full performance below.
